Kinetic energy is defined as

K=(1)/(2)mv^2

Replacing the given information, we have

\begin{gathered} K=(1)/(2)\cdot10\operatorname{kg}\cdot(5m/s)^2 \\ K=5\operatorname{kg}\cdot25m^2/s^2 \\ K=125J \end{gathered}

Hence, the kinetic energy of the bowling ball is 125 Joules.
