A foot ball is filled with mercury and taken into space where it is weightless will it hurt to kick this football in the space since it is weightless?

If you want to move a body of mass m with an acceleration a, the force you have to apply is,


F=ma

As the ball in the space still have a mass but no gravitational force.

Thus, there will be no resistance but to move a ball you have to kick the football which can hurt.

Thus, if the football is kicked in the space it still hurt but not as much as it does on Earth.
