The Surface Area of a sphere is equal to four times the product of pi and the square radius, following the formula:

SA=4\pi r^2

The radius of the sphere is r=12cm, using this value you can determine the surface area as follows:

\begin{gathered} SA=4\pi(12^2) \\ SA=4\pi\cdot144 \\ SA=576\pi cm^2 \end{gathered}

The surface area of the sphere is 576π cm²

The volume of a sphere can be determined using the following formula:

V=(4)/(3)\pi r^3

For this sphere the radius has a length of 12cm, then the volume can be calculated as follows:

\begin{gathered} V=(4)/(3)\pi(12^3) \\ V=(4)/(3)\pi\cdot1728 \\ V=2304\pi cm^3 \end{gathered}

The volume of the sphere is 2304π cm³
