To answer what is the result of 6 ÷ 1/3, you have to count how many 1/3 boxes are. Given that there are 18 boxes, then 6 ÷ 1/3 = 18

Dividing by a fraction is equivalent to multiply by the inverse of the fraction, then 6 ÷ 1/3 = 6 x 3 = 18

Another model is shown in the next picture

To represent 6 ÷ 1/3, you have to draw two 1x3 rectangular wholes. 6 is represented by 6 of these rectangular wholes. How many times 1/3 goes into 6? It goes 18 times, then 6 ÷ 1/3 = 18
