Answer:

Seems like theres a handout to go with this so i'm not sure on the exact answer. But I would assume it is that there is very little fossil evidence for this period. This would probably be linked to the KT-4 boundary which has little to no fossils because its time period was during the mass extinction, which killed all dinosaurs and majority of living organisims.
