The difference is

The percentage decrease will be


\begin{gathered} \%\text{ decrease}=\frac{difference}{Old\text{ price}}*100 \\ \%\text{ decrease}=(100000)/(400000)*100=25\% \end{gathered}

Hence, the percentage decrease is 25%
