A group of 20 registered voters were polled and asked what party they belonged to, whether they were Republicans (R), Democrats (D), Green Party members (G), or independent (I). The results are written below.GRIIDRRRDIRRDDIRDIDDConstruct a frequency table (including a relative frequency column) to describe this data.ValueFrequencyRelative FrequencyRDGI

It is defined as the frequency as the number that some event occurs. In this case, let us sum the frequency of each event (R, D, G, or I).

It is 7 Republicans, 7 Democrats, 1 Green Party member, and 5 Independents.

Now, to find the relative frequency, we use:

F_{\text{rel}}=\frac{N_{\text{occurrency}}}{N_(total)}

We know that the total number is 20, then we calculate:

\begin{gathered} _{}F_R=(7)/(20)=0.35 \\ F_D=(7)/(20)=0.35 \\ F_G=(1)/(20)=0.05 \\ F_I=(5)/(20)=0.25 \end{gathered}

Now, we can construct the following table:
