Suppose u={1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10} is the universal set, and p={2,4,6,8,10}. what is p'?

So,

set A' would be anything NOT in A, but in Universal Set.

In the problem, we have:

u={1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10}

and

p={2,4,6,8,10}

Note: Universal set is 1 to 10. Set p is even number in them. So p' would be all the numbers NOT in p but in U (odd numbers).

So, p' would be:

p'={1, 3, 5, 7, 9}
