to solve this question, we just simply multiplied the sides by the scaled factor and then compare the change in length


\begin{gathered} 2inches*7\text{ by 3inches }*7 \\ \text{new length= 14by21} \end{gathered}

the new length of the rectangle is 14 by 21 inches.

comparing this to the previous length, there's an increment in the length

so simply type your answer this way in the box

"14 by 21'"

the shorter length is the previous length which was 2by3
