Eliminate the both y because they’re opposites, add the x, then add the 4 and 8. This will be 2x = 12, x = 6. Then if we use x as first equation it will be -6 - 2y = 4. -6 + 6 - 2y = 4 + 6. -2y= 10 y is -5. Answer is (6,-5)
