Since f(t) is the number of customers after t hours from 9 a.m.

Then we can explain each statement given

a) f(3) = 19

That means at t = 3 f(x) = 19

Then that means

The number of customers at 12 p.m. (3 hours after 9 a.m.) is 19

b) f(2) < f(6)

That means at t = 2, f(x) smaller than at t = 6

Then that means

The number of customers at 11 a.m. is less than the number of customers at 6 p.m.

c) f(4) = f(10)

That means f(x) at t = 4 and t = 10 have the same value

Then that means

The number of customers at 1 p.m. is equal to the number of customers at 10 p.m.
