We must remember that Natural logarithm has a peculiar base. So let's check it out:


\begin{gathered} \ln \text{ (x)=-0.123} \\ \ln =\log _e \\ \log _e(x)=-0.123 \\ x=e^(-0.123) \\ x=2.72^(-0.123) \\ x=0.884 \end{gathered}

This irrational number e = 2.7182.... approximately 2.72 then ln(x) is equal to e raised to -0.123 what it is approximately 0.884
