Recall the formula for the sine of the difference of two angles:


\sin (\alpha-\beta)=\sin (\alpha)\cos (\beta)-\sin (\beta)\cos (\alpha)

By comparing with the expression:


\sin (48)\cos (15)-\cos (48)\sin (15)

We can notice that it is the same as:


\sin (48-15)
