The store owner bought:

12 belts at $108

First step is to calculate the base price for each belt, to do so divide what he paid by the number of belts:


(108)/(12)=9

To this price he adds up the 45%, so the next step is to calculate the 45% of $9:


(9\cdot45)/(100)=4.05

Finally add $4.05 to $9 to get the final price per belt:


9+4.05=13.05

Each belt will be marked $13.05, the correct answer is C.
