The team can make a total of 2,002 different line-ups

To know the number of line-ups the team can make, we need to know the number of ways in which we can select 9 different players from a total of 14

The number of ways this can be done is 14 C 9 ways which is pronounced as 14 combination 9 ways

Mathematically, that will be;

\frac{14!}{(14-9)!9!\text{ }}\text{ = }(14!)/(5!9!)\text{ = 2,002 line ups}
