You can use one formula to calculate the surface area of a triangular prism, this given by:

SA=bh+(s1+s2+s3)H

Where:

b = base

h = height of the triangle

s1, s2 and s3 = the length of each side of the triangle base

H = the height of the prism (which is the length of the rectangles)

So, substitute the given values into the formula:

b = 1, h = 1.5, s1 = 1, s2 = s3 = 1.6 and H = 6

SA=1(1.5)+(1+1.6+1.6)(6)

And solve:

SA=1.5+(4.2)(6)=1.5+25.2=26.7

Answer: 26.7 in^2
