(-1,0), (1,6) Find slope intercept form if the y-intercept is (0,3)

We have two points that will help us to find the slope (m)

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

where

(-1,0)=(x1,y1)

(1,6)=(x2,y2)

then we substitute the values

m=(6-0)/(1+1)=(6)/(2)=3

If the y intercept is (0,3)

the slope-intercept form is

y=mx+b

where

m=slope=3

b=y-intercept= 3

y=3x+3
