The given equation is equivalent to


x+(1)/(2)y=1

Let's check each one of the options.

(2,-6):

if we replace x by 2 in the equation, we obtain y=-2, then the point is not a solution.

(1,5)

if we replace x by 1 in the equation we obtain y=0, then the point is not a solution of the equation.

(-5,5)

if we replace x by -5 in the equation, we obtain: y=12, then the point is not a solution of the equation.
