James is playing his favorite game at the arcade. After playing the game 3 times, he has 8 tokens remaining. He initially had 20 tokens, and the game costs the same number of tokens each time. The number t of tokens James has is a function of g, the number of games he plays. Write the functions formula.​

Answer:t(g)=-4g+20

Step-by-step explanation:

James started with 20 tokens so that would be the y-intercept

After 3 games he had 8 tokens left. To figure out how many are used per game subtract 20-8=12

He used 12 tokens on 3 games which means each game cost 4 tokens. So the slope will be -4

t(g)=-4g+20
