Given:

The given function is:

f(x)=3\sqrt[]{x+3}-6

The zero of a function is defined as the point where the function returns value zero.

Thus,zero of the function f is values of x where f is zero.

Hence,

\begin{gathered} \Rightarrow f(x)=0 \\ \Rightarrow3\sqrt[]{x+3}-6=0 \\ \Rightarrow3\sqrt[]{x+3}=6 \\ \Rightarrow\sqrt[]{x+3}=(6)/(3) \\ =\sqrt[]{x+3}=2 \end{gathered}

Squaring both sides,

\begin{gathered} x+3=2^2 \\ x+3=4 \\ x=4-3 \\ x=1 \end{gathered}

Hence, option A) x = 1 is correct.
