Kudzu is a species of plant. It is a group of trailing, coiling and climbing perennial vine. It comes from Japan and southeast China and it was introduced to the United States in 1876, being tauted during an exposition for its sturdy vines and sweet-smelling blooms. As a plant, it feeds on nutrients on the soil, it gets water from nature and uses sunlight to do photosynthesis in order to make the energy available in its organism.
