A nonagon is a shape with 9 sides. A regular shape means that all angles and sides of the shape is equal. That means let call the side of the nonagon, n. That means the perimeter which is 80, which means all side, n will add up.


n + n + n + n + n + n + n + n + n = 80

or


9n = 80

Solve for n


n = (80)/(9)

This rounded would make our interger side, 9
