You work in a retail store selling limited-brand products. These clothes/accessories are not the top brands in the industry, but they are still popular and people are constantly in your store. As a sales rep, you currently make 15% flat commission over all of Your sales (so yes you have to go talk to the people). You average about $3,980 in sales weekly. Calculate your Gross Weekly Income.

SOLUTION

From the question, you currently make 15% flat commission on all sales.

Since you make an average of $3,980 in sales weekly, then Gross income becomes

\begin{gathered} 15\%\text{ of }$3,980$ \\ =(15)/(100)*$3,980$ \\ =(59,700)/(100) \\ =597\text{ dollars } \end{gathered}

Hence the answer is $597 weekly
