Given the figure, we can deduce the following information:

Coordinate for Art Museum = (6,1)

Coordinate for Animal Shelter = (6,-2)

To determine the coordinates of the new location for the art museum and the animal shelter as a reflection across the y-axis, we first note that the reflection of point (x,y) across the y-axis is (-x,y). So,

Art Museum = (6,1)=(-6,1)

Animal Shelter = (6,-2)=(-6,-2)

Hence, the new locations are:

Art Museum =(-6,1)

Animal Shelter =(-6,-2)

Next, we determine the distance between Art Museum and the Animal Shelter:

Distance = 1-(-2)=3

Hence, there are 3 blocks from each other. We can also conclude that it is the same distance as in question 12 as when we reflect a point across the y axis, the y-coordinate remains the same.
