Given:

The total area of the floor to be installed, T=2160 sq-ft.

The area of the floor to be installed in one hour, A=90 sq-ft.

The total area divided by the the area of the floor that can be installed in one hour gives the number of hours needed to install the floor.

Hence, the number of hours needed to install a floor of T=2160 sq-ft is,

$N=(T)/(A)=\frac{2160\text{ }}{90}=24\text{ h}$

Therefore, 24 hours is needed to install a floor of area 2160 sq-ft.
