To find the height and width of each moon, count the vertical squares or horizontal squares that it occupies.
Another easy way to see it, is to enclose each moon in a rectangle and look at the height and width of each rectangle:
For moon A:
It has a height of 12 squares, and a width of 8 squares.
For moon B:
It has a height of 6 squares and a width of 4 squares.
For moon C:
It has a height of 3 squares and a width of 2 squares.
For moon D:
It has a height of 4 squares and a width of 6 squares.
Notice that the proportion Height/Width is the same for moons A, B and C but different from that of moon D. This shows that the moon D is not alike to A, B and C moons, and that three moons are alike from each other.
Remember that two figures are similar if the proportion of corresponding sides is the same.
