The slope formula for two points is

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

where

\begin{gathered} (x_1,y_1)=(-3,4) \\ (x_2,y_2)=(2,-1) \end{gathered}

If we substitute these points into the slope formula, we have

m=(-1-4)/(2-(-3))

which gives

\begin{gathered} m=(-5)/(2+3) \\ m=(-5)/(5) \end{gathered}

therefore m=-1. The answer is option C
