Solution:

The number of shirts kwan bought is

=2

The price of each shirt is

=18.95

The number of shorts kwan bought is

=3

The price of one short is

15.50

The amount kwan gave to the cashier is

=100

The formula below is used to calculate the amount of change to be collected

\text{change}=\text{Amount given to cashier -(amount of short+amount of shirt)}

The amount for 2 shirts will be

\begin{gathered} =2*18.95 \\ =37.90 \end{gathered}

The amount for the 3 shirts will be

\begin{gathered} =3*15.50 \\ =46.50 \end{gathered}

By substituting the values in the formula, we will have

undefined

Hence,
