as a sophomore in high school I always feel peer pressure that I have to do very well on tests and quizzes, ever since I started school I have always felt that peer pressure and I'm sure everybody has. Most of my friends have this feeling of peer pressure that we have to do good on a test. So I believe yes stress is a response to a negative experience.
