p(x)=x² + x + 1

To find p(7), simply substitute x= 7 in the above

p(7) = 7² + 7 + 1

= 49 + 7 + 1

= 57

p(-4)

simply substitute x =-4 in the equation above

p(-4)= (-4)² + (-4) + 1

=`16 - 4 + 1

= 13

To find Q(4), simply substitute x=4 in;

Q(x) = 5x² - 1

Q(4) = 5(4)² - 1

= 5(16) - 1

=80 - 1

= 79

T find Q(-10), substitute x =-10 in the equation above

Q(-10) = 5(-10)² - 1

= 5(100) - 1

= 500 - 1

=499
