The answer is X=6
We do that by isolating the variable by dividing each side by factors without the variable in this case X.

we have the equation

9\left(x-9\right)+8=-19

Solve for x

step 1

Apply distributive property on the left side

\begin{gathered} 9\left(x)-9(9\right)+8=-19 \\ 9x-81+8=-19 \end{gathered}

Combine similar terms on the left side

9x-73=-19

step 2

Adds 73 on both sides

\begin{gathered} 9x-73+73=-19+73 \\ simplify \\ 9x=54 \end{gathered}

step 3

Divide both sides by 9

\begin{gathered} (9x)/(9)=(54)/(9) \\ \\ x=6 \end{gathered}

The answer is x=6
