Answer:

P = 12 1/2 in

A = 9 3/8 in²

Explanation:

L = 3 3/4 in

W = 2 1/2 in

Area:

A = L × W

A = (3 3/4 in)(2 1/2 in)

A = 15/4 in × 5/2 in

A = 75/8 in²

A = 9 3/8 in²

Perimeter:

P = 2(L + W)

P = 2(3 3/4 in + 2 1/2 in)

P = 2(15/4 in + 5/2 in)

P = 2(15/4 in + 10/4 in)

P = 2(25/4 in)

P = 25/2 in

P = 12 1/2 in
