Given a circle with diameter D, the circumference, C, is given by:

C=\pi* D

In this case D = 14 / 15 in.

Therefore

C\text{ = 3.14 }*(14)/(15)=(43.96)/(15)=2.93in

Hence the circumference is 2.93 inches
