In graphing a system of linear equations, the following steps must be followed:

I. Assume values for the independent variable (x-values) to obtain corresponding y-values

II. Plot the coordinates obtained from I above

III. Draw a straight line through the points plotted in II above

IV. Repeat steps I-III for all the other linear equations

V. The solution is obtained by the point of interception of the straight lines

For example, if we are to plot the graph for the system of linear equations below:
