For any set A the A' is the complement of a set. The complement of a set is defined as the set of elements that are contained in U, the universal set, but not contained in A.

In our example,

A^(\prime)=\left\lbrace 3,\text{ 7, 9,}0,6\right\rbrace
B^(\prime)=\left\lbrace 3,7,9,1,5,8\right\rbrace

Now,

A^(\prime)\cup B=\left\lbrace 3,7,9,0,6,2,4\right\rbrace
A^(\prime)\cap B^(\prime)=\left\lbrace 3,7,9\right\rbrace
(A\cup B)^(\prime)=\left\lbrace 3,7,9\right\rbrace
A-B^(\prime)=\left\lbrace 2,4,3,7,9\right\rbrace
