Base on the question the license plate should have 6 number. The first 3 letters are letters which can be from A to Z. Possible letters altogether are 26 in number. The last 3 characters must be numbers which can be 0 to 9 . The possible numbers are 10 digits.

You didn't indicate whether the letters can be repreated or the numbers can be reppeated .

If the numbers and letter can be repreated .

\begin{gathered} 26\text{ }*\text{ 26 }*\text{ 26 } \\ =\text{ }17576\text{ possible letters can be formed} \end{gathered}

\begin{gathered} 10\text{ }*\text{ 10 }*\text{ 10 } \\ \text{ = 1000 possible numbers can be formed} \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} 17576\text{ }*\text{ 1000} \\ \text{ = 17,576,000 possibile plate number} \end{gathered}

Now if the letters and numbers can be repeated.

\begin{gathered} 26\text{ }*\text{ 25 }*\text{ 24 = } \\ 15600\text{ possible letters} \end{gathered}
