An isosceles triangle has 2 equal sides and 2 equal angles

y = 15

To find x apply Pythagorean theorem:

c^2 = a^2 + b^2

where:

c= hypotenuse

a&b= the other two legs of the triangle:

x^2 = 15^2 + 15^2

x ^2 = 225 + 225

x^2 = 450

x = √450

x= 21.21

One given angle is a right angle (90°).

The sum of interior angles of a triangle is 180°.

90 + A + B = 180

A=B

90 +2A=180

2A= 180-90

2A=90

A=90/2

A=45

B= 45

A=45

B=45

x= 21.21°

y= 15
