A marine biologist took two true breeding fish, one orange with stripes, and one white with spots, and crossed them. All of the first generation progeny (children) were white with stripes. Based off of this information, is it possible to identify which alleles are dominant? If so, state which alleles are dominant, and which alleles are recessive. *

Yes! We can see which are dominant!

In this first generation progeny, we see that stripes are dominant and spots are recessive. And white bodies are dominant over orange!

I am a bit rusty on genetics, but I believe I am correct
