The odd outcome (1, 3 and 5) probability is 2/9, and the even outcome (2, 4 and 6) probability is 1/9. The expected value is given by:

\begin{gathered} \sum_i^6i\cdot P(i)=(1+3+5)\cdot(2)/(9)+(2+4+6)(1)/(9)=2+(12)/(9)=3.33... \\ \end{gathered}

Answer: Option A
