Answer:

Given that,

A sauce can with a height of 12 cm and a diameter of 10 cm.

To find the surface area

we know that,

Surface area of a cylinder is,

=2\pi r(h+r)

where h is the height and r is the radius of the cylinder.

Radius of the cylinder is 10/2=5 cm

=2*(22)/(7)*5*(12+5)
=2*(22)/(7)*5*17
=534.28\operatorname{cm}^2

Answer is: Surface area of the cylinder is 534.28 cm square.
