Given 2-(×+4)=10​, to find x, our 1st step will be to open the bracket;


\begin{gathered} 2-(x+4)=10 \\ 2-x-4=10 \\ -2-x=10 \end{gathered}

The 2nd step is to add 2 to both sides of the equation, this will give us the below;


-x=12

The final thing to do is to multiply both sides of the equation with -1;


x=-12

Therefore. x
