Each line has one equation

y-y1=m(x-x1)

m is the slope of the line

(x1, x2) is a point on the line

We can find m by using this rule

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

From the graph the line passes through points (0, 4) and (3, 6)

(x1, y1) = (0, 4)

(x2, y2) = (3, 6)

Substitute them in the rule above to find m

m=(6-4)/(3-0)=(2)/(3)

Now let us put it in the form of the equation above

undefined
