since the slope line passing through two points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) is

m = y2 - y1/x2 - x1

the this poins given (3, 0) and (8, 9)

m = 9 - 0/8 - 3

m = 9/5

therefore the slope of the line is 9/5

using the point-slope formular:

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

y - 0 = 9/5(x - 3)

therefore,

y = 9/5(x-3)
