The total number of babies is 1820

If 55% of the babies born are male, then the percentage that the babies born are female is,

100-55=45

Therefore, the percentage of female babies is 45%. Let n be the number of female babies born in a year. Therefore, we have,

n=(45)/(100)*1820=819
