We have types A and B.

• One bag has 3 kg of A.

,

• Seven bags have 63 kg.

\begin{gathered} 7b=63 \\ b=(63)/(7)=9 \end{gathered}

There are 9 kilograms in each bag. So,

A+B=9

This represents the mixture in one bag.

\begin{gathered} 3+B=9 \\ B=9-3=6 \end{gathered}

Hence, there are 6 kilograms of type B in one bag.

(a) The equation is

7(b+3)=63

(b) b = 6.
