the triangle A with H = (13 - 5)/2 = 8/2 = 4

then triangle A =
(1)/(2) * 6 * 4 = 24/2 = 12

total triangles = 12 * 4 = 48

hexagon area = 60 + 48 = 108

plan B:

there 13 - 5 = 8

because there are identical triangles, so we can shape both of it being a rectangle with short line is 8/2 =4, and long line is 12

then we calculate that rectangle area = 12 * 4 = 48, then total of the hexagon = 60 + 48 = 108
