1) As 3cm represents, is equivalent to 5 m

We can write:

3 cm ------------ 5m

6cm ------------ 5 x 2 = 10m

12cm -------------5 x 4 = 20m

2) Now, since we want the Patio area, we can write:

A = b * h

A = 5 x 10

A = 50 m²

3) Hence, the area of that patio is 50m²
