start by comparing the numbers as decimals

\begin{gathered} (2)/(3)\approx0.666666667 \\ (7)/(9)\approx0.777777778 \end{gathered}

to complete the inequality we must find a number in between

\begin{gathered} (3)/(5)\approx0.6 \\ (6)/(9)\approx0.6666666667 \\ (3)/(4)=0.75 \\ (6)/(7)=0.857143 \end{gathered}

the only number that is between this 2 is 3/4 or 0.75
