\begin{gathered} \text{Let the angle be }\theta \\ \text{Hence,} \\ \theta=tan^(-1)((y)/(x)) \\ \end{gathered}

In this case,

y=-\frac{\sqrt[]{2}}{2}\text{ and x=-}\frac{\sqrt[]{2}}{2}
\theta=\tan ^(-1)(1)=45^o,225^o

Since x is negative, and y is negative

\theta=225^o
