let us solve for y,


\begin{gathered} w=(x-y)/(2)-z \\ w=(x-y-2z)/(2) \\ 2w=x-y-2z \\ y=x-2z-2w \\ y=x-2(z+w) \end{gathered}

Thus the answer is,


y=x-2(w+z)
